Greetings from Williams, Arizona. I don't have a bike, but I do have some nice views and a trip to the Grand Canyon planned. So not all bad. Thanks for reading issue #8 and checking in on Proton Cycles - my little side project to improve lives one bike at a time.

Fat Tire and L39ION release limited-edition beer to support equity in cycling
via Brewbound
If you've been following this little blog (and thank you for that!) you know my personal Venn diagram includes bikes, beer, music and BBQ. So yeah, I like this a lot. Proceeds from every can of L39ION X Fat Tire Golden Ale sold will benefit the Grow Cycling Foundation in support of their work providing education, access, and opportunities that promote diverse representation and equity in cycling. But you need to act fast cuz quantities are limited and sadly they're not shipping to every state (no Michigan?!). Head over to the New Belgium site to get yours.

Founder Jenni Gwiazdowski shares how she went from marketing professional to bike repair aficionado sharing her knowledge and wisdom with others seeking to learn how to work on their own bikes. Pretty cool gig and pretty awesome thing she's created.
