Magic of Music bike rides connect people to the community via StreetsBlog Chicago I have many bike-related Venn diagrams. This effort from non-profit Equiticity combines biking, music and community. I rather love the author's description of their riding experience: " One of the most fun things about the ride was how it instantly activated the areas it passed through. People hanging out on the street or waiting for a bus at first looked surprised by the booming music and group of mostly Black and Latino folks on bikes, and then delighted, moving their bodies to the beat. Happy Labor Day weekend. Hope you're enjoying the final days of summer with a bike ride. Part of Proton Cycles -  my little side project trying to improve lives, one bike at a time. Riders pedal across America to help provide affordable housing via The Chronicle A group of 18 cyclists who were part of Bike and Build set off across the country. Along the way they stop in various communities and assist with the construction of affordable housing. Since 2003, the group has been working to raise awareness and generate support for more affordable housing solutions. Earn-A-Bike program helps students learn to fix and earn a bike via News Center Maine The Bicycle Coalition of Maine launched it's Earn-A-Bike program in Bangor this summer.
